Message

To aim for the development of a recycling-oriented society

The Company was established in 1976 as a company specializing in the recycling of rechargeable batteries in metal, based on the parent company Fuyo Metal Co., Ltd., which expands a business of recycling rare metals.

At the time of its establishment, while society was in a period of high economic growth, environmental problems due to mass production and mass consumption were becoming serious.

Under these situations, we have established a technology to separate and extract cadmium, which has a high environmental burden, from “nickel / cadmium batteries”, which were representative of rechargeable batteries at the time. Then, we have started a business to recycle used rechargeable batteries as useful metal raw materials instead of disposing them.

Since then, with the technological innovation of rechargeable batteries represented by the birth of nickel-metal hydride batteries and lithium-ion batteries, we have developed metal recycling technology, and now can recycle almost all major rechargeable batteries.

In the future, rechargeable batteries will increasingly play a key role in society with the spread of mobile devices and EV cars.

We will continue to contribute to the development of a recycling-oriented society by the recycling of used rechargeable batteries.
